VARIETIES AND VINES: Montepulciano 100%;

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13% Vol;

PRODUCTION AREA: Vineyards located in the hills of Abruzzo, with predominantly south-east exposure;

HARVEST: In the period following the first half of October, upon reaching full phenolic maturity by carefully selecting the best grapes;

VINIFICATION: Destemming of the grapes and fermentation at a controlled temperature (around 25°C) with maceration on the skins for around 10-15 days, followed by pressing and malolactic fermentation;

REFINEMENT - STORAGE: 6-12 months in oak or stainless steel barrels, followed by refinement in the bottle for at least 3 months before being released for consumption. Store in a cool place at a temperature of 14°C - 16°C;

COLOR: Ruby red with violet reflections;

BOUQUET: Intense and fruity, with notes of ripe cherry, plum, and hints of aromatic herbs and sweet spices;

TASTE: Medium body, velvety and harmonious, with soft tannins and pleasant acidity. Persistent fruity taste with light nuances of liquorice and tobacco;

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°C ​​- 20°C;

GASTRONOMIC COMBINATIONS: Excellent with meat dishes such as roasts, grilled red meat, braised meats and game. It also pairs well with hard cheeses and typical Abruzzo cured meats.
