The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Doc from our 12 Nodi line is an authentic symbol of Abruzzo and its rich winemaking tradition. This wine presents itself in a fascinating way with a full and shiny ruby ​​red color, illuminated by delicate purple reflections. When poured into the glass, it forms elegant, dense and inviting arcs, which reveal its remarkable alcohol content.

On the nose, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 12 Nodi reveals enveloping aromas of ripe blackberry, undergrowth, sour cherries and maraschino. A unique wild note adds a touch of originality to this olfactory experience.

On the palate, this wine stands out for its depth, its impeccable structure and a persistence that enchants you. VINTAGE: 2022;

VARIETIES AND VINES: Montepulciano 100%;

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13% Vol.

PRODUCTION AREA: Vineyards located in the hills of southern Abruzzo;

HARVEST: During the second week of October, upon reaching phenolic maturity by selecting the best grapes;

VINIFICATION: Destemming and long maceration for approximately 20-25 days with periodic pumping over in small-capacity steel fermenters with automatic control of the maceration and fermentation temperature;

AGING: Aging in barriques for 12-15 months and refinement in bottle for three months before being released on the market. Store in a cool place at a temperature of 5-7 °C;

COLOR: Ruby red, bright and lively, with violet reflections;

BOUQUET: Fragrant and fruity, persistent and intense, with hints of toasting and clear hints of spices and liquorice;

TASTE: Harmonious, full, warm and enveloping with good body, it is expressed with a good intensity and a pleasant tasting persistence;

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18-20 °C;

GASTRONOMIC COMBINATIONS: It is suitable for accompanying red meats, braised meats, lamb, game and mature cheeses. It should be paired with rich and structured first courses.
